- IRB racing
- Surf lifesaving competition
- IRB race training
- Time trials
- Competitive surf operation
This exclusion applies to IRBs manufactured or supplied by Achilles or Sea Legends.
IRB racing subjects vessels to repeated high-speed surf impact loading, airborne landings, rapid acceleration and deceleration forces, and structural stress beyond intended rescue operating design.
Damage arising from IRB racing or competitive surf use is excluded from warranty coverage, including but not limited to:
- Seam separation
- Fabric distortion or stress failure
Transom stress, cracking or movement- Structural fatigue
- Floorboard breakage, cracking, splitting or delamination
- Damage to stringers, supports or attachment points
Floorboards in IRBs are structural components subject to high-impact surf loading. Breakage or damage resulting from IRB racing, surf landings, or excessive structural loading is not covered under warranty.
