Achilles Inflatable Boats has introduced the SSX 385 model in accordance with the requirements set by Surf Life Saving Australia for a Class 1 Surf Rescue vessel. This new iteration of the Achilles IRB, revealed in 2022, serves as a vital asset for navigating the challenging waters of Australia.
The SSX 385 is endorsed by SLSA to be used by SLSA affiliated clubs and services for the purposes of frontline surf lifesaving.
Its main function is to efficiently maneuver through the turbulent surf zone to reach individuals in need of rescue and bring them safely back to shore.
